The Warranty Group has promoted Sean Kent to the role of head of account management.

Kent (pictured) will be responsible for all of the company’s non-motor manufacturer clients and relationships in the UK.

He joined The Warranty Group (TWG) in 2008 as a senior underwriter and has since held a number of key roles, having previously worked at EWC Insurance Services and Homeserve.

Kent has been fundamentally involved in the creation and management of the RAC Dealer Network and is also involved with large dealer groups, car supermarkets, Kwik-fit and Santander.

He said: “TWG is in an excellent position in the dealer sector at the moment and has been seeing substantial annual growth for some time, creating innovative products that meet the changing needs of dealers and car buyers.”

TWG’s vice president of automotive Europe said: “Sean has proven his abilities by delivering excellent results over recent years and we are sure that he will thrive in this new role.”
