BCA Marketplace plc has announced that Matthew Kelly has joined the business as group finance director.

Kelly assumes responsibility for internal and external financial reporting, treasury, taxation matters, internal audit and risk, joining BCA from Smith & Nephew, where he most recently held the role of vice-president of finance operations.

Kelly had previously worked for Taylor Wimpey and Deloitte and will report in to Tim Lampert, BCA Marketplace plc’s chief financial officer.

Lampert said: “We are delighted to welcome Matthew to BCA.  His experience gained in senior roles at FTSE100 listed companies will be invaluable to BCA as we continue to strengthen the management team to enable the Group to grow and develop in line with our strategic aims.”
