BCA is targeting growth in the South West with a bigger role for Steve Paine who will take on responsibility for the Bridgwater auction centre.

Paine is already general manager role at the remarketing specialist’s Blackbushe site and Darren Betteridge, regional operations director at BCA, believes that his experience will benefit the operation at Bridgewater.

Betteridge said: “Gareth Musgrove and the team at Bridgwater have driven exceptional growth over the last two years, and Steve’s all-round knowledge of managing a high volume operation will help to strengthen our proposition in the South West to ensure that our business continues to prosper.”

BCA recently announced an extensive investment programme with major enhancements to its UK remarketing network over the next two years, covering the Midlands, north, south and M1 corridor.

The recent developments come in addition to the acquisition and integration of the Scottish Motor Auction Group (SMA) business with facilities in Leeds, Wolverhampton, Kinross and Livingstone.
