Novuna Vehicle Solutions has teamed up with digital remarketing platform Dealer Auction to launch a digital marketplace for premium electric vehicles (EVs).

From 1 July, trade buyers will have priority access to Novuna's defleeted EVs. All vehicles will be refurbished to NAMA Grade 1 standard, with a flat fee of £250 + VAT for buyers. Available marques will include MG, Audi, Volkswagen, Cupra, Hyundai, and Kia, with most vehicles being 70-plate or newer.

Novuna Vehicle Solutions, which rebranded from Hitachi Capital in 2022, said it chose Dealer Auction for its network of used EV car buyers and its integration with Manheim, Novuna's defleet and physical auction partner, as part of Cox Automotive.

Novuna Vehicle Solutions, which rebranded from Hitachi Capital in 2022, said it chose Dealer Auction for its network of used EV car buyers and its integration with Manheim, Novuna's defleet and physical auction partner, as part of Cox Automotive.

Chris Morse, remarketing manager at Novuna Vehicle Solutions, said: "With the increasing number of EVs we defleet and remarket, it’s crucial to find the right channels for these vehicles.

“Dealer Auction has a valuable audience of EV buyers, thanks to its partnerships with key OEMs and finance companies. These buyers appreciate the platform's efficiency and the reliable supply of electric vehicles."

The partnership's launch will feature a special sale with 50 hand-picked EVs for a selected group of buyers. Novuna plans to market an additional 50 cars each month through the platform, ensuring a consistent and diverse selection for trade buyers.

John Biggs, operations director at Dealer Auction, said, "Our engaged buyers seek the best EV stock without the hassle of searching multiple sources. This new influx of vehicles will meet that demand and deliver excellent results for Novuna.

"Novuna will also benefit from the swift listing and sale process. Vehicles will be listed as soon as Manheim completes their refurbishment, with sales typically closing within 48 hours. Buyers can collect from Manheim Leeds or arrange delivery via Manheim or their preferred provider. This reduces depreciation risk, eliminates storage costs, and improves operational efficiency."
