Skoda has revealed its first electric VRS model, the Enyaq Coupe iV VRS.
The performance-focused model will be available to order from July, priced from £51,885.
Styling enhancements for the VRS include 20-inch alloy wheels, sports front and rear bumpers and gloss black surrounds for the grille, window trim and rear diffuser. Badges, tailgate lettering and the air curtain trim on the front apron are also finished in black, while the rear bumper adds a full-length red reflector – a design feature shared will all other Skoda VRS models.
The interior is equally sporty, with black perforated leather sports seats and a leather multifunction sports steering wheel complete. The dashboard is upholstered in a leather-look material to match the seats, and is edged with contrast stitching.
Like all Enyaq Coupes, the VRS is fitted with a full-length panoramic glass roof as standard.
An 82kWh battery pack provides a range of 309 miles (WLTP), while two electric motors deliver 299PS to all four wheels.
The Enyaq Coupe iV VRS is capable of reaching 62mph from rest in 6.5 seconds and has a top speed of 111mph.
Rapid DC charging at speeds of up to 135kW, can provide an 80% charge in as little as 36 minutes.
To further enhance the car’s driving experience, it is equipped as standard with a sports chassis that is 15mm lower at the front and 10mm at the rear. Dynamic steering is also standard on VRS models.
Ordering will open on February 17, with the first UK deliveries expected by the end of July.
Skoda celebrated the 20th anniversary of its VRS performance brand in July.
