Aston Martin’s new DBS Superleggera will take on Ferrari’s 812 Superfast vying for customers interested in their next super-GT this year.
Prices start from £225,000 and first deliveries will be in Q3 this year.
The DBS Superleggera comes with a 715bhp 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 and it will hit 0-62mph in 3.4 seconds, before going on to a top speed of 211mph.
Aston Martin hasn’t used the DBS nameplate since 2012 but has revived it for what will be its new range topping model.
Dr Andy Palmer, Aston Martin president and chief executive, said: “DBS Superleggera not only marks the return of a great Aston Martin name, but signals our return to the very pinnacle of the Super GT sector.
“Thanks to the remarkable torque available from its twin-turbo V12, DBS Superleggera packs a breath-taking punch, yet its dynamics have been carefully honed to engage drivers of all ability levels.”
