MotorTrust UK expands with new Bury showroom, creating 25 jobs

Independent regional dealership group MotorTrust UK has taken over the site of Bury’s largest car dealership, creating 25 new jobs.

Earlier this month, MotorTrust UK which already operates showrooms in Lancaster, Preston, and Garstang, opened the new showroom on Derby Way, previously occupied by The Car Group.

A spokesperson for The Car Group confirmed to the Bury Times that they are still “working with customers” to resolve outstanding matters although clarified that it has no affiliation with the former dealership.

Gregory Jackson, 45, from Chorley, has been appointed as the new general manager. “We’ve had a positive reaction since opening earlier this month,” said Jackson. “All of our vehicles are AA-approved, and we are committed to providing honest and transparent service. Our goal is to attract customers from across Greater Manchester and assure them that they can trust us.”

MotorTrust UK’s Bury showroom has a stock of over 500 new and used vehicles and operates seven days a week and partners with six local workshops in Bury for vehicle maintenance.
