JCT600 has united with sector suppliers to provide a look at innovative approaches, online technologies and solutions that manufacturers and retailers are adopting to meet consumer demand.
In partnership with the Institute of the Motor Industry the news-style insight is provided via video, in an initiative called ‘Driving Change’.
Four ‘Driving Change’ programmes are hosted by newsreader Natasha Kaplinsky. Each features key industry interviews and news-style reports, along with sponsored editorial profiles.
‘Driving Change - Synchronising with Customers’ reveals some of ways in which digital technologies, marketing strategies and financial products are helping dealerships attract new customers and build loyalty.
With predictions that the number of women with driving licenses in the UK will soon outstrip men, the IMI is keen to encourage a greater representation of women working in the industry.
Currently, women are just two per cent of the automotive workforce.
This programme features a special report on womens’ perceptions of the industry, and the career opportunities that are available.
Six sponsored news-style reports feature in the 32-minute ‘Driving Change – Synchronising with Customers’ programme.

“Looking at key subjects such as the benefits of investing in quality training and apprentices and the promotion of professional standards, as well as topics such as gender mix and diversity and the impact that new technology is having on the motor industry has all helped shape the programme into something we’re extremely proud of.”
