The new Audi A4, Honda HR-V and Jazz have all achieved a five star safety rating from Euro NCAP.
The Volkswagen Caddy was also tested in the latest round of crash tests and it achieved four stars.
The Honda Jazz is only the second supermini to be awarded the top five star rating so far this year.
The Caddy was let down by its pedestrian safety rating. According to Euro NCAP the Caddy's bumper provided good protection to pedestrians' legs and scored maximum points. However, protection of the pelvis region "was almost completely poor". It said the Caddy's bonnet and windscreen showed predominantly adequate or marginal protection for pedestrians.
