LSH Auto has officially opened its redeveloped Mercedes-Benz showroom in Tamworth following an undisclosed investment.

The dealer group will hold a launch event for customers on April 8 with a ribbon cutting ceremony followed by canapes and refreshments.

Mercedes has been in Tamworth since 1966 and the latest location was built in the 1980s but has been redeveloped over the years.

The latest showroom has been refurbished to the German brand’s latest corporate identity standards with an upgraded external used car sales area and new 14-ramp workshop.

Dedicated ramps for EV servicing

The workshop now includes dedicated EV ramps, vehicle charging stations and new valet bays, enabling Mercedes-Benz of Tamworth to operate as a dedicated EV site for all service, warranty and repair work.

Vaughan Blackman, LSH Auto managing director, said: “This investment in the showroom reflects our commitment to delivering an outstanding retail and service experience for our loyal customers.

“The state-of-the-art facilities ensure we remain at the forefront of automotive excellence, with a dedicated space for electric vehicle servicing and a premium showroom environment.”

The dealership has also introduced a private handover bay, “providing customers with a more personalised and memorable experience when collecting their new vehicle”.

Additional enhancements include expanded customer parking, a service drop-off and collection area, and an upgraded MOT and four-wheel alignment ramp.
