LSH Auto BYD has partnered with 2025 Manchester Film Festival (MANIFF) as one of the main sponsors of the city's celebration of new and independent cinema.
The cooperation will expose LSH Auto and the BYD brand to approximately 6,000 attendees of the festival in person, as well wider exposure with accompanying digital marketing.
LSH Auto BYD will have a strong presence at key venues during the festival, with vehicles on display for the launch night at Aviva Studios.
VIPs attending the festival will be chauffeured to Q&A sessions and red-carpet events in BYD electric vehicles.
Vaughan Blackman, managing director of LSH Auto, said: “The festival attracts visitors from all over the country, so this sponsorship underscores our commitment to bringing sustainable mobility to Manchester and beyond.”
Now in its 11th year, the festival will run for 10 days of screenings, Q&A sessions, and red-carpet glamour from March 14-23.
LSH Auto was one of the first UK dealers to represent the new BYD franchise and has locations in Bury, Stockport and Macclesfield, as well as in Tamworth and West London.
The newly launched Sealion 7 electric SUV is the fourth model in BYD’s Ocean Series and will be on display at the festival.
BYD has cemented its position in the UK as the nation’s fastest-growing brand since its March 2023 launch, having increased its sales volume by 658% with 8,700 cars sold in 2024.
BYD entered the UK market with the Atto 3 C-segment SUV and has since introduced four additional models in under two years with the Sealion 7 set to expand the lineup in the coming months.
Alongside its growing model range, BYD has rapidly expanded its retail network from 14 locations to 60, with plans for further expansion in 2025.
