Best Companies Group is thrilled to be partnering with AM to launch the first annual Best UK Dealerships To Work For programme.
This programme is designed to identify and recognise those dealerships around the UK who have excelled in creating workplaces where associates love to go to work each day.
While offering great benefit schemes is important, the real measure of whether an organisation is a great place to work is employee engagement. That is why this programme includes both an employer survey and an employee survey, with the emphasis being placed on the employee experience.
As the research partner, Best Companies Group will be conducting the evaluations and will determine the final list of winners. Formed in 2004, BCG combines its state-of-the art survey technology with workplace excellence research expertise to create and manage “Best Places to Work” programmes all over the world.
With more than 60 programs globally, BCG surveys over 600,000 employees annually, representing over 5,000 organisations.
Among its many programmes, BCG also works with Automotive News (Detroit, MI) to manage the US version of the Best Dealerships to Work for.
BCG also works on several large independent survey and research projects around the world.
Led by president and co-founder, Peter Burke (pictured), BCG has derived success by employing research methodologies that insure the integrity of employer information and employee feedback.
“We are really excited to lend our expertise and passion to AM’s Best UK Dealerships To Work For programme”, said Burke.
BCG will conduct the two-part assessment process through which they will gather valuable data from employers and employees to determine the dynamics and characteristics of each participating organisation.
From that information, BCG is not only able to determine who is good enough to make the list, but the information is also used create the optional employee feedback report for each participant.
This valuable report summarises the employee engagement data as well as provides industry benchmark reports so organisations can better understand how their own corporate culture stacks up against the best.
"Participating in this initiative will not only give dealers the opportunity to see if they are one of the best employers in the industry, but it will also provide each participant the opportunity to obtain and use the feedback report to improve the engagement levels within their organisation”, Burke said.
The BCG’s employee feedback report is available to all participants regardless of whether they make the list or not.
In this very competitive labour market, being named a best place to work will help with employee recruitment, staff retention, dealership marketing, and the dealer’s overall reputation in the community.
However, keep in mind that even if a dealership enters and does not make the list, it could be worthwhile just to get the employee feedback.
The registration deadline to enter is June 22, 2018.
