John Clark Motor Group has completed the acquisition of a dealership from Gillanders Motors which introduces the Kia brand to the AM100 group's franchise portfolio for the first time.

The Peterhead Kia dealership will remain at its current location on the Blackhouse Industrial Estate and the full Gillanders team will transfer to John Clark Motor Group in the acquisition.

A full redevelopment of the Kia showroom, to the latest brand guidelines, is planned, and alongside the Kia dealership will be added a new John Clark Select business offering a wide range of premium used cars.

The addition of Kia follows the recent news of the John Clark MG Perth acquisition in August 2024 and the reveal of the family-owned group's record breaking revenues in 2023.

John Clark Motor Group is a family-owned automotive business based in Scotland, offering new and used car and van sales as well as servicing and parts. Established in 1974, the group has grown to represent over 18 franchises and 39 locations, serving customers across the north-east of Scotland.
