Ian Pugh appointed group MD of newly formed Advantage

Ian Pugh, managing director of Fix Auto UK, has been appointed group managing director of the newly established Advantage Group of Companies which now includes Fix Auto UK, Advantage Parts Solutions UK, and Fix Auto UK’s network of corporately owned repair centres.

While Fix Auto UK and Advantage Parts Solutions will retain their unique identities, the Advantage Group will aim to deliver greater value to the industry by combining parts and repairs.

Under the new structure, Mark Hutchins, operations director, and Rob Pugh, commercial director of Fix Auto UK, will continue to report to Ian Pugh as will Andy Smith, managing director of Advantage Parts Solutions and Earle Avann, who leads the corporately owned repair centres.

Advantage Parts Solutions, founded in Canada in 1988, has steadily expanded its global footprint. After entering the US market in 1993, the company launched its UK operations in 1994, providing of OEM parts sales, service, and marketing solutions.
