Hendy Group has strengthened its operational board with the appointment of two new members and role changes for two others as part of a transition to a new regional operating model.
The restructure introduces three regional operational directors to oversee the group’s core territories across southern England, along with the creation of a new group aftersales director role. All four appointments will report to chief operating officer Duncan Mcphee, who took on his role last October.
Paul Murrells, formerly director of new vehicle operations, has been appointed as regional operational director for the east. David Cooper joins as regional operational director for central, bringing 14 years of experience from Lookers, where he represented brands such as BMW, Mini, Volvo, Polestar, and JLR.

McPhee added, “The expanded Board will ensure alignment with our Group objectives and foster operational excellence across all areas of the business.”
