Fix Auto UK continues its expansion with the appointment of Fix Auto Bedford, formerly known as Quality Repair Centre (QRC).
The business, owned by Marcin Macioszek and serial entrepreneur Ali Khan, is strategically positioned to serve motorists in Cambridge, bridging the gap between Fix Auto centres in Daventry, Buckingham and Bury St Edmunds.
Founded in January 2023, the 5,500 sq ft repair centre has BSI10125 certification, employs a team of 11 and currently repairs up to 20 vehicles per week, with the capacity for further growth.
Macioszek, who worked his way up from a spray-painter to managing a bodyshop, said joining Fix Auto UK offers him vital support in business operations.
"Like many in the industry, I started on the shop floor and worked my way up," he said. "I've always aspired to own my own repair centre, and meeting my partner, Ali, gave me the platform to make it happen. I'm incredibly proud of what we've achieved in such a short time, but I also recognise my strengths and weaknesses. Managing a workshop is my forte, but running a business is a different challenge. Being part of Fix Auto UK and having access to their business support has been a priority from the outset."
Mark Hutchins, operations director at Fix Auto UK, added: "I’m delighted to welcome Marcin, Ali, and their team to Fix Auto UK. Strategically, Fix Auto Bedford is ideally placed to serve the region, but more importantly, Marcin's ambition and passion for growing his business make this an exciting addition to our network."
