London-based bank Aldermore has launched a dealer services team to grow in the motor retail sector.

Led by former Siemens executive Tim Biddle, the team will provide commercial vehicle dealers with stock, fleet and customer financing, with a focus on alternative deal structures, schemes and products.

As a launch offer it is offering a free FCA health check to its customers.

Alongside Biddle is Alan Yetts, who has joined from Volvo Financial Services. He will cover the East of England.

Ian Smith, formerly of HSBC and CNH Capital will cover the North of England.

Brian Warbrick, who joined from BNP Paribas Leasing Solution, will cover the Midlands, and Russel Nicholls, who joined from CNH Capital, will look after the South West of England
