A disgruntled Land Rover customer blocked the entrance to Vertu Land Rover Leeds for six hours after a warranty dispute.

Customer Rob Kelly, who also works in the trade as owner of used car dealer Exclusive Automotive in North Yorkshire, has been recording his issues with his Land Rover Defender on social media platform TikTok following a fix carried out under warranty to the vehicle's gearbox.

Kelly did not buy the Defender from Vertu Land Rover Leeds.

According to the Daily Mail, Kelly returned to the dealership demanding a full engine replacement.

Dealership staff called the police to to get Kelly to move a lorry that he had blocked across the entrance to the dealership.

The police were unable to persuade Kelly to move his vehicle.

He returned the next day to the dealership for a meeting with Vertu staff where the work to the Defender's engine was agreed "as a gesture of goodwill", in addition to Kelly taking a courtesy car while waiting for further repairs.
