The W R Davies team at the new Nissan dealership in Ffordd Las, Rhyl, celebrated its official opening by holding an exclusive day of celebration.
The launch event featured a display of Nissan heritage vehicles; demonstrations of basic vehicle checks; and a video showcase of Nissan vehicles such as ARIYA and Qashqai.
There was also a ‘meet the team’ session involving staff and managers of W R Davies, a prize draw and refreshments. Loyal and future customers were invited and several special guests were in attendance, including Csaba Vincze, Nissan’s network development and customer quality director.
Vincze was impressed with the new showroom, saying: ‘‘I congratulate everyone at W R Davies on the opening of this fantastic new dealership – it’s fresh, modern and new and showcases our eye-catching new retail concept to great effect.”
Mark Ridgway, general manager at W R Davies Nissan Rhyl, said: ‘‘Although our official opening took place very recently, our new Nissan deaership in Rhyl has actually been operational for some time and is proving very popular with motorists in the local area. It was wonderful to meet loyal and future customers at our special event and I’d like to thank Csaba Vincze for joining us and helping to make the day a big success.’’
The new Rhyl dealership joins two other Nissan branches operated by W R Davies in Stafford and Telford. As well as offering new vehicles such as ARIYA, Qashqai and Juke, a wide variety of used ‘Nissan Intelligent Choice’ vehicles are in stock.
At the helm of the family business is Jonathan Davies, grandson of the original W R Davies. Jonathan helped cut the ribbon with Csaba Vincze to open the new Nissan site and further cement the company’s long-standing partnership with Nissan GB.
Currently celebrating its 100-year anniversary, W R Davies Motor Group now operates over a dozen franchised dealerships across North Wales, Staffordshire and Shropshire.
