The PSA Group has claimed that its new Robins & Day multi-brand car dealership in Chiswick offers the car buyers the UK’s “largest concentration” of new electric vehicles (EV) to choose from.
The site, on Chiswick High Road, was reopened last week following a £14.5 million redevelopment programme to bring the DS Automobiles, Citroen and Peugeot brands together under one roof.
Among the pure electric vehicles (EV) that will be offered at the multi-brand site are the new Peugeot e208 and e2008, the DS3 Crossback E-TENSE and the Citroen eC4.
And PSA Group UK managing director, Alison Jones, said: “This site is a clear indication of our commitment to customer service and choice as we continue to grow our UK sales, especially our growing line-up of electric vehicles.
“With all three brands now under a single roof in a new ‘super site’ the Robins & Day West London showroom has the highest concentration of electric and plug-in models for UK buyers to choose from, alongside our Petrol and Diesel cars.”
Jones, recently the subject of a profile feature on the AM Awards 2020’s Manufacturer of the Year, said: “The team offer comprehensive services to our customers throughout their car ownership, not just at point of purchase. We’re very excited by the launch and wish the Robins & Day team success in the years to come.”
Robins& Day’s retail site in Chiswick underwent 24 months of renovations and now features the OEM’s latest showroom technology and design, including a 12-bay workshop with two MOT bays, which is supported by an off-site parts hub, and a commercial centre.
The site aims to achieve 11,300 vehicle sales in the first year of operation.
James Weston, the chief executive of Robins & Day, said: “After 24 months of redevelopment it was fantastic to open the doors to our West London site and to have three of its brands under a single roof. We already have tri-brand showrooms across the UK and are very excited to open the doors to our West London store.”
Back in August Robins & Day opened the UK’s largest DS Automobiles showroom, in Leicester.
The Abbey Lane facility, which shares a roof with the Peugeot brand, has space for 17 workshop bays with a potential to add a further six during peak demand, alongside space to stock up to 150 used cars from across the PSA Group’s brands.
