Hatfields Group’s Wakefield dealership was named as Jaguar’s retailer of the year while Shukers Group Ludlow operation received the same accolade from Land Rover as JLR recognised its top car dealers of 2018.

The two groups emerged victorious as the manufacturer drew data from its balance scorecards to issue awards in a total of 16 categories, with managing director Rawdon Glover presenting the silverware to the successful retailers.

As well as its Jaguar retailer of the year award, Hatfields also claimed the aftersales retailer of the year award for Jaguar (Wakefield) and marked a “double-double” by being named as group of the year for both brands for a second year in a row.

“The awards represent a consistent all round performance, most importantly in customer satisfaction”

Along its success as Land Rover retailer of the year Shukers Group’s successful Ludlow dealership also claimed the aftersales retailer of the year award.

Lookers was also among the groups celebrating success in the recent JLR awards after its recently-opened Land Rover Colchester dealership was crowned sales retailer of the year after its first full year of trading.

The £7 million business, opened in November 2017, also came in 5th for the overall retailer of the year and in the top 10 for Customer Satisfaction.
