Cooper Mini Durham has supported the local constabulary’s Pride procession with a rainbow decorated Mini to celebrate diversity.
The Pride procession held on May 27 is always led by members of the Durham Constabulary, supported by the local fire and ambulance service.
The dealerships team jumped at the chance to support the police-led Pride event and provided a multi-coloured Mini Cooper, with the slogan ‘Police with Pride’ emblazoned on the side.
The LGBT+ car led the parade and reportedly attracted “lots of attention”.
Cooper Mini Durham’s retail manager, Anna Harris, said: “We were extremely proud to be asked to support the police at such a brilliant event.
"Mini is an individual brand which represents a diverse community and we were really excited to come up with ideas on how to decorate a car for the police to use.”
