Fred Coupe Nissan is using Indicata Market Insights to help improve sales of its used cars.
The family-run dealer in Preston is one of the first to adopt the online used vehicle management system.
It provides the sales team with real-time insights into the demand, supply and pricing of used cars in their geographical area.
Simon Davis, Fred Coupe’s sales manage, said: “We have piloted Indicata for a few months and it is certainly giving us the competitive advantage that we need to sell more used cars in the area through better insights into local demand and pricing. It also supports our decision as to which part exchanges we keep and which we sell, which is particularly useful for non-Nissan product.”
Inidicata, which is part of the Autorola Group, scans, processes and analyses data freely available in the public domain. It provides live used car market data which gives insights on market dynamics including demand, supply, pricing and inventories.
Fred Coupe’s sales team sell around 600 used cars each year. The data helps them buy the used cars that are in high demand in their locality and trade those that are in poor demand.
