Pendragon is set to host a series of nationwide recruitment days as it attempts to find staff for all areas of its expanding Evans Halshaw Car Store used vehicle operation.

The recruitment days offer candidates an opportunity to get a sense for what the various available Car Store roles demand and find out how the brand is growing as part of a ‘fast-track’ recruitment experience which could see job offers being sent out within 24 hours of events.

Pendragon-owned Evans Halshaw’s continued investment in its new used car brand supports a plan to open 40 Car Stores in the UK.

Rob Miller, head of Car Store operations, said: “As we launch the brand in these new areas, Car Store Recruitment Days are the perfect opportunity for candidates to learn more about the brand, the exciting new roles and to meet the team.

Open to vehicle technicians, sales and support roles and leadership roles, most candidates attending the recruitment days will experience interviews, role play and group exercises on the day.

The first events take place in Reading on 26 and 27 September at the Royal Berkshire Conference Centre, Reading, RG2 0FL.

Borehamwood will host candidates on 28 and 29 September at Holiday Inn Hemel Hempstead, HP2 4UA.

On 3 and 4 October, Norwich Car Store will invite candidates to the Mercure Hotel in Norwich, NR3 2BA.

Ipswich Car Store Recruitment Days will take place on 5 and 6 October at the Holiday Inn, Ipswich, IP3 9SJ.

Wrapping up the recruitment days will be Car Store Shrewsbury and candidates will be able to learn more about the roles on offer on 18 and 19 October at a location yet to be confirmed.
