Bescol Motors has opened its second SsangYong franchise to County Durham as it hails the brand as doing "extremely well in our area."

The retailer already represents the Korean brand at its showroom in Consett and will operate its second facility from Park Head Service Station, Park Head Road, New Coundon, Bishop Auckland.

SsangYong Motor UK’s marketing and communications director, Steve Gray, said: “We and our dealers are focused on giving customers great service, so whether buying a new or used SsangYong, choosing accessories or helping to maintain their car in the years ahead, we are confident customers will appreciate the car, their dealer and the brand.

"We are especially delighted that Bescol Motors has decided to add the brand to their dealership in Bishop Auckland, in addition to Consett.”
