Mitchells of Mansfield has invested £750,000 in new Renault trucks, as part of ongoing growth across the business.
The Nottinghamshire-based company has reported “tremendous growth over the last year” and as a result, will be upgrading 10 existing trucks.
The investment aims to meet the growing demand of Mitchells’ new and existing customers across a variety of sectors, while ensuring fleet maintenance costs remain low.
The existing 38-strong fleet will take delivery of 10 new trucks from East Midlands Renault Trucks distributor, RH Commercial Vehicles (RHCV) – with hopes of further updates throughout 2018.
Mitchells of Mansfield’s managing director Andrew Mitchell said: “We are dedicated to ensuring each of our customers receive a first-class service.
"As a result of a strong year of growth, we needed to upgrade our existing trucks to ensure we carried out this service efficiently and continue to grow across all markets.
“We chose to purchase Renault trucks for the first time, as the package and deal from RHCV really stood out to us and we were blown away by the brilliant service.
“We are growing all the time and will eventually upgrade the rest of the fleet this year to Renault trucks – returning to purchase from RHCV when we do.”
