HR Owen filled Waterloo Place with 70 Ferraris to celebrate the Italian brand's 70th birthday – bringing the part of central London to a standstill.
In one of the largest Ferrari gatherings ever assembled on London’s streets, HR Owen Ferrari customer cars descended on Waterloo Place to showcase a line-up of Ferrari’s through the ages, with everything from a 550 Maranello, F12 Berlinetta and 458 Italia to the new GTC4 Lusso.
Taking centre stage at the event on its own podium was a special LaFerrari Aperta. Another model turning plenty of heads was an ultra-rare Zagato Ferrari 550 GTZ Barchetta, one of only a handful have ever been manufactured.
After closing a busy London street, the cars convoyed to Buckinghamshire and Hedsor House to enjoy champagne and a BBQ.
HR Owen Ferrari’s marketing manager Owen Rothwell said: “In an extra-special year for Ferrari, H.R. Owen is pulling out all the stops to ensure this fabulous brand enjoys worthwhile celebrations – and the Waterloo Place event really got things going in style.
“We had some truly amazing models lining up for media, members of the public and enthusiasts to see, with a friendly and lively atmosphere that really conveyed what H.R. Owen is all about.
“The drive out to Hedsor House gave our customers the chance to flex their muscles behind the wheel, and when we arrived they were given even more VIP treatment in truly idyllic surroundings.”
