Three of Toyota’s UK retailers have been named among the manufacturer’s best in Europe, receiving Ichiban awards for their excellent performance in customer service, sales and aftersales.
RMB Toyota Northallerton, Burrows Toyota Barnsley and Oakmere Toyota Northwich all confirmed their premier status alongside 42 other retail businesses from across Europe.
The UK-based businesses were selected for the accolade from Toyota’s European network of 2,300 retailers in 33 countries.
For both Burrows and Oakmere it was a third success in the annual awards in four years.
Senior executives from the three businesses collected their trophies from Dr Johan van Zyl, president and chief executive of Toyota Motor Europe, at a ceremony in Antwerp, Belgium, on Tuesday.
