Macklin Motors Nissan Glasgow, part of Vertu Motors, has opened following an investment of more than £5 million.

A year-long construction project saw the Port Dundas Road dealership’s eight-storey glass tower built on the site of the former DC Thomson print works, which was demolished.

The multi-storey car dealership also features a lower level used car sales and service centre, with a new car sales environment on the first floor.

General manager Robert Auld will run the dealership.

Macklin Motors’ other Nissan site is in Darnley.
