Snows Group opened its first Volkswagen Van Centre at an official launch of the “long lasting and lucrative” new business venture.

The group adds to a 28-strong retail network, which includes Seat from the Volkswagen Group, with the facility located in Plymouth’s Langage Business Park.

Snows group’s board director, Phil Maddison, was joined by Andrew Waite, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles’ head of sales operations at the event which featured entertainment and competitions for guests.

Maddison said: “The launch of Snows Group’s first Van Centre in Plymouth announces the arrival of reliable, practical, and adventurous Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles in the area.

“We were thrilled that so many of our customers came to enjoy the evening, and we’d like to extend a special thanks to Andrew Waite and the other members of Volkswagen who came to unveil the Snows Van Centre plaque.

“The evening commemorated the beginning of what we are sure will be a long lasting and lucrative relationship, which will greatly benefit the community in Plymouth and beyond.”

Magician and balloonist “Lez the Fez” and caricaturist Sarah Bailey joined the three-piece Jazz Noir band to entertain guests at the opening event.
