Suffolk used car dealer Brandon Car Centre has taken on its first new car franchise, MG.
Director Daniel Freeman decided to utilise his team’s extensive franchise dealer experience, he chose MG to be the first franchise they brought into the dealership.
He said: “We saw MG complementing us perfectly. We’ve got a significant database of loyal customers who we believe will be really taken with the MG models.
“Day one of trading went fantastically with an existing customer coming in first thing in the morning, taking the MG6 for a test drive and buying it.”
The dealership is positioned in Brandon, a market town in Suffolk just over the border from Norfolk.
“As people head from London to North Norfolk, they will pass by us so we’re hoping that the vivid branding and great cars will turn more people’s heads than just that of the 10,000 plus population of Brandon.”
Matthew Cheyne, head of sales and marketing for MG, said: “In the next month we’ve got a handful of new dealers coming on-board with more of our open points getting covered, including a key one that we think people will be happy about.”
