Carl Hough has been promoted to new car sales manager at Swansway dealership Stoke Audi.

He steps into the role vacated by George Masters, who recently retired.

Having begun in sales in the consumer goods’ sector, selling frozen foods into supermarket chains, Hough (pictured) moved into the motor trade 15 years ago.

“I feel fortunate to have found an industry and a role that I genuinely enjoy; I’ve been a sales executive at Stoke Audi for four and a half years and have achieved Audi accreditation to sales manager level.”

Stoke Audi, next door neighbour to Stoke City, on the Trentham Lakes development, is a growing dealership, recently adding a stand-alone Mini showroom for its used cars.

Peter Smyth, Swansway Group director, said, “Wherever possible we try to promote from within; Carl has been excellent in his Sales role and I know he will prove to be a great new car sales manager.”
