An award winning Liverpool team has retained its top position for business excellence and customer care after winning its fifth national award this year.

Dealer group Swansway Garage’s Volkswagen Van Centre Liverpool was named as the top performing van centre, in quarter three, by Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles; as well as claiming the leading sales award.  

Early this year the Evans Road van centre business picked up ‘gold’ at the brand’s 2014 Performance Awards, beating Volkswagen’s 70 other van centres, at the same time as scooping the annual customer satisfaction and group performance titles.

This recent recognition brings the van centre running total for awards from the brand to 16, since opening in 2011.

David Cowan, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle brand director for Swansway, which owns the Liverpool business, said: "Our trophy cabinet is getting full but we will happily buy another as the team has no intention of letting our standards slip.

“I am immensely proud of my team, and it certainly is a team effort. We have become a little customer-obsessed and are always looking at ways to improve our service to help grow the business.

“We are now focused on winning the annual performance award again.”

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles monitors all aspects of its van centres, from customer satisfaction and aftersales through to sales and key business performance. Scores are collated and evaluated throughout the year, culminating in an annual result.
