Progress Motor Retail Group has acquired Milton Keynes Suzuki for an undisclosed sum from Northridge Cars Group.
The standalone six-car dealership on London Road, which is now known as Progress Suzuki, is the family run business’ first Suzuki site in Buckinghamshire, and their second in the UK, following last year’s purchase of Co-op Motors in Kettering.
Matt Crathorn, Progress Suzuki brand manager, said: “After a positive first year in Kettering, we are growing the Progress Suzuki franchise with the opening of a second location in Milton Keynes, an important market in Buckinghamshire.
“With strong sales forecast, and new models on the way, there is plenty to look forward to as we continue to develop our relationship with Suzuki.”
The site has been fully-refurbished and features a dedicated Motability Scheme specialist, servicing, MoT bays and smart repair facility.
Dale Wyatt, sales and marketing director at Suzuki (GB), said the MK location had been instrumental for the brand in driving sales and increasing its exposure with the sponsorship of the local MK Dons football team.
