Dale Wyatt, former Suzuki GB and Ireland director, has joined RWA Automotive as a new advisory board member to expand its business intelligence services to car manfacturers.
The business currently provides business intelligence services to over 550 franchised dealers across the UK.
Wyatt, who joins the board from April 1, said the automotive industry is inundated with data from every angle, but the challenge is understanding it quickly enough to act and use the insights to drive change within a business.
He said: "Collaborating with RWA Automotive on their expansion into the OEM space is exciting as it addresses many of the data challenges I’ve encountered throughout my career.
"I’m looking forward to what this partnership will bring."
John Hogan, RWA Automotive chief executive, said collaborating with Wyatt combines the company's data expertise with his extensive experience in the automotive industry.
Hogan added: "We are confident that our OEM solutions will offer innovative and actionable data analytics that were previously unavailable to OEMs."
Hogan also made it clear that RWA Automotive remains "dedicated to its existing retail customers" as it looks to expand its reach to OEMs.
Wyatt announced he was taking early retirement in September last year after 17 successful years with Suzuki.
He said at the time he had chosen to step down to focus on his health, well-being, and personal interests, while also exploring potential advisory roles within the automotive industry.
