The Platinum Motor Group, owned by Renrod, has expanded its offerings at the Meridian Motor Park in Trowbridge by adding Citroën to its lineup.

Citroën vehicles will now be available alongside Vauxhall models at the group’s established Vauxhall showroom including the highly anticipated all-new electric EC3 model.

Islington Motor Group had previously held the Citroen new car sales franchise for Trowbridge, at Canal Road, and it now remains a Citroen authorised repairer and used car dealership.

The vehicle manufacturing group Stellantis is supporting the consolidation of single-brand dealerships into multi-brand sites, to support franchisee sustainability.

John Hathaway, general sales manager for Platinum Citroën and Vauxhall, said: “We’re thrilled to offer an expanded selection of new and used vehicles, including Citroën’s stylish and competitively priced range.”

The dealership will continue to provide full aftercare services for Citroën vehicles, including MOTs, repair, and parts.

The dealership is offering introductory service discounts for existing Citroën owners, with savings of up to 20% over several years.

This expansion follows Platinum Motor Group’s acquisition of two-site dealer group Pebley Beach earlier this year which added Hyundai and Suzuki franchises in Swindon and a standalone Suzuki dealership in Cirencester.

Platinum operates a number of dealerships across the South West and operates a wide portfolio of brands including Hyundai, Renault, Vauxhall, Nissan and Toyota, with Suzuki – and now Citroen - adding to its portfolio this year.
