Vauxhall has made two senior appointments in its fleet department.
Richard Roberts (pictured right) has become national fleet sales manager – rental, leasing, company vehicles and Motability, taking on the additional responsibilities of leasing, total cost of ownership/residual values and company vehicles, in addition to his existing responsibility for Motability.
He was previously fleet marketing and Motability manager, Roberts has 22 years experience with the brand. He has held roles within the Vauxhall organisation spanning UK forecasting and retail sales, with previous roles in aftersales and customer care.
Carl Stanton (left) has been appointed fleet sales operations manager, responsible for fleet marketing, ordering, inventory and managing Vauxhall’s fleet support team.
Previously regional fleet manager, Stanton has 22 years of experience at Vauxhall and has held a number of roles in the fleet sales management team.
He has held positions within the fleet team including European rental manager and new business fleet sales manager.
Prior to that, Stanton spent 10 years at a Vauxhall retailer as a retail sales manager.
“Richard and Carl start their new roles at a very exciting time for Vauxhall, as we are set to launch eight all-new or refreshed models by 2020,” said James Taylor, Vauxhall’s fleet sales director.
“This includes the new generation of the best-selling Corsa and the successor to the British-built Vivaro in 2019.
“New product aside, both Richard and Carl bring experience and knowledge of Vauxhall, its customers and our business networks, that is certain to strengthen the UK motor industry’s strongest fleet sales operation.”
