BMW UK has extended its program of exterior paint finishes for the BMW i8 model with an extensive array of new colours.

The BMW Individual collection includes an array of vibrant hues, including: Java Green, Speed Yellow, Solar Orange, Twilight Purple Pearl, Frozen Grey, Frozen Black, San Marino Blue and Grigio Telesto Pearl.

The new colours will be available as an optional from all i Agent BMW dealerships and are priced from £5,495.

A variety of finishes are also available, including non-metallic, metallic or Xirallic, which uses a mixture of synthetic mica or aluminium flakes to produce scintillating effects.

The new BMW Individual paint programme for the BMW i8 follows the success of the early orders for the Protonic Red limited edition and is bespoke to the UK.

Over 1,400 BMW i8s have been sold in the UK since the launch in 2014.

The hybrid coupe delivers 357bhp and can cover up to 23 miles in electric only mode, claiming CO2 emissions of just 49g/km and a combined consumption figure of 134.5mpg.
