Mercedes-Benz Vans UK is now fully responsible for the re-marketing of pre-owned vans.

Mercedes-Benz used vans have previously been re-marketed via Mercedes-Benz Used Commercial Vehicles (vans and trucks) at the Mercedes-Benz facility based at Wentworth Park, near Barnsley. 

Overseeing this customer-focused business development, Mick Glover (pictured) takes on the newly created role of used remarketing manager for Mercedes-Benz Vans.

Glover will be implementing and controlling processes for used vans, ensuring high stock turn, tight financial controls, maximising sales values whilst also ensuring the department delivers excellent customer service to the dealer network.

He said: “The used van market in the UK is around three times bigger than the new van market, so there is a fantastic opportunity now to maximise our strength in this area.

“The right vehicle for a customer may well be a used one, and we are committed to helping people find the right vehicle for their needs, whether that is new or used; we can supply the right vehicle for their budget.”

Having worked in the Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicle business for 20 years, Glover has worked closely with the dealer network to provide the best service to both retail and fleet customers, and has extensive experience in dealing directly with fleet and retail customers.
