Norton Way Group is to open its first Kia dealership in August, on Great West Road, Brentford, West London.
The four-floor 41,000sqft flagship site will trade as GWR Kia and is angled towards the M4, with the top floor featuring a glass facade, showcasing Kia's vehicles.
Chief executive and president at Kia, Paul Philpott (pictured, far left) said: “This is a highly prominent site, which sees over 27 million vehicles pass by each year. We feel that this is the next step in raising the profile of Kia and look forward to the doors opening in August to new and existing Kia customers in West London."
Managing director of Norton Way Motors Ltd David Grainger (pictured, far right) said: "After discussing the franchise with Kia for over four years, we are excited to open our first site. We think the unique, original design of the dealership will attract customers in from far and wide, where they can then take advantage of Kia's seven year warranty and range of excellent deals.”
The new site will feature 3D headsets for waiting customers, a café with seating for over 40 people, an iPad customer experience area, and NFC (near field communication) technology. One area that NFC will be used is within the café to send a signal and message to customers when their vehicle is ready after a service.
Seven service and two MOT bays can be found on the lower ground floor, with space to expand to 15 bays. Customer parking for over 30 and EV charging points are also available on site.
GWR Kia has been designed with sustainability in mind; featuring air source heat pumps, CHP (Combined Heat and Power), and roof mounted solar PVs that will deliver a reduction in CO2 emissions of over 30% compared to building regulations.
The Norton Way Group has been operating in the local area of West London for over 13 years and in Hertfordshire for over 25 years. The site will see four key personnel move into the management roles who between them have over 50 years of experience within the group.
