A consumer who booked a test drive in a new Infiniti Q50 received a surprise visit from the brand’s F1 racing driver Daniel Ricciardo.
The prospective customer in South London, named only as Anton, had registered for an Infiniti test drive three days previously.
Infiniti Red Bull Racing F1 driver Daniel Ricciardo said: “Surprising Anton with the Q50 was good fun. I had no idea how he was going to react – to be honest I was a bit worried he might hug me. But he seemed to enjoy it which was cool and he really liked the car when we took it out for a spin afterwards, so it was a good day all round.”
To help prospective buyers get to know the Infiniti range the carmaker is offering an extended test drive of up to two days. It can be booked through Infiniti’s new website, which is responsive to mobile and tablet users, and which will gain an Infiniti car configurator in June.
Infiniti has already opened two retail outlets in London’s two Westfield Shopping Centres and a new centre in Maidstone, Kent in 2015, and will be launching an all new Q30 active compact car later this year.
