The Car Buying Group is teaming with new car marketplace Sun Motors to streamline selling stock when it launches in October.

Through a monthly subscription model, dealers will soon be able to reach the audiences of The Sun, The Times, The Sunday Times, Virgin Radio UK, and talkSPORT.

Sunmotors.co.uk last month said it is aiming to revolutionise the car buying and financing experience through leveraging the media group’s audience reach and the industry expertise of the Motor Genius Group to help dealerships reach an audience of 75% of UK adults.

No sponsored listings will be offered to ensure equal pricing and stock visibility for dealerships of all sizes. The platform will also enhance a dealer’s stock exposure by re-targeting interested visitors through social media and Google.

In cases of part exchanges, dealers will be able to obtain vehicle valuations through Sun Motors, powered by The Car Buying Group.

If a dealer chooses not to keep the part-exchange vehicle, The Car Buying Group will offer a seamless process for disposing of the car.

Dealers will also receive £100 for every vehicle purchased by The Car Buying Group as part of this service.

Sun Motors fully launches in October and an early adopter promotion is currently available. Those who sign up early will benefit from no transaction fees until at least July 2025.
