Snows Motor Group has acquired WKB Toyota dealerships in Chichester and Waterlooville to take its number of franchised sites to 30.
The landmark deal, completed yesterday, came as WKB director David Kilby took the decision to retire from the business after 25 years.
The two new additions to the network take Snows Toyota representation to eight sites across the South and South West of England, with BMW, MINI, and Seat also located in Portsmouth, where the Group has been involved in the motor trade since the 1980s.
For the foreseeable future, both Chichester and Waterlooville will continue to trade as WKB Toyota, but responsibility for the dealerships will now fall to Snows Group Directors Phil Maddison and Alex Domone.
Maddison said: “Both new and existing customers at WKB Toyota will now benefit from the advantages that come with being attached to a large dealer group, including increased buying power and access to a greater volume of used vehicle stock.”
Snows said that existing WKB Toyota customers will continue to see familiar faces at Chichester and Waterlooville.
