Greenhous has acquired WR Davies Ford Newtown and Welshpool dealerships in Mid Wales, according to the Shropshire Star.

The acquisition brings Greenhous’ franchise portfolio to a total of eight car manufacturer brands; Dacia, Ford, Nissan, Renault, Toyota, Vauxhall, Volkswagen and Volvo and one DAF franchise.

Greenhous’ joint chief executive Derek Passant told the Shropshire Star: “Eighteen months ago we announced the acquisition of the WA Lewis franchises in Shrewsbury and Telford which increased our influence and reach in the automotive world.

“Now we have had very positive and professional discussions with Jonathan and his team and this has concluded in our taking on the Ford franchise in Newtown and Welshpool, including the staff already working there.

“We are utilising our extensive resources and expertise to ensure that there is a smooth transition for all involved. We are delighted to welcome Ford into the Greenhous group.”

WR Davies still has Ford dealerships in Llandudno, Llangefni and Rhyl.
