The Suzuki brand is back in Derby with the opening of Beechwood (Derby) Ltd's new showroom in Siddals Road.

The Suzuki franchise sits alongside the group's Subaru, Mazda and MG franchises.

Sales manager Simon Lowe said: "We've assembled a great team for our new Suzuki franchise and their motor industry and customer care experience will ensure all customers will receive excellent service every visit."

Lowe has 22 years of experience in the sector and his team includes sales executive Adrian Brackstone with around 17 years, Anthony Meadowcroft with 15 years and Lewis Smith, in his first year at Beechwood.

Service manager Chris Bryan can match Lowe's 22 years, while parts manager Patrick White is the most experienced member of the Beechwood family with 30 years' service.

Suzuki service adviser is Emily Wood.

Lowe said: "There hasn't been a Suzuki dealership in the area for a while now, so we're really excited to be bringing back a brand that is developing so quickly. In fact, it was the fastest-growing car brand in the UK, boosting sales by an incredible 33% in 2013 to enjoy a record market share.

Beechwood was established in 1982 by Mike Wood.
