Dundee used car dealership Glencross Motors is getting back to work after its licence suspension was overturned.
Owner Charles Sandeman has said the authorities were "very heavy handed" in revoking his trading licence following a visit to his premises by police, VOSA and Trading Standards on June 4.
It left the business unable to trade until Dundee's licensing committee restored the licence on June 28.
Sandeman's solicitor said that to date, Sandeman has not been charged with a single offence arising from the investigation.
Police Scotland told the Dundee Courier this is an ongoing inquiry with partner agencies involving DVLA, Trading Standards and VOSA and it would be inappropriate to comment further at this stage.
