Ford has reduced the prices of selected parts for Transit and Transit Connect models that are more than four years old by up to 58%.

The reduction is part of a new initiative to attract older vehicles into Ford workshops.

The offer includes: brakes/brake linings, filters, clutches, flywheels and chassis running gear.

The move follows the recent launch of Motorcraft 4+ from Ford – a parts and service package targeting drivers of commercial vehicles and cars aged four years and older.

Jon Wellsman, Ford of Britain customer service division director, said: “Small businesses need to watch every penny, and these price cuts on regular service parts will bring savings that customers really notice.”
