Nissan’s next generation Qashqai has been awarded a five star safety rating from Euro NCAP.

The new model scored maximum points in the side barrier tests, child protection and pedestrian protection.

The new Nissan Qashqai has undergone Euro NCAP's tests under stricter requirements introduced in 2014 and achieved the overall five star rating. The previous small family car had been tested by Euro NCAP in 2007.
