Mazda has revealed a new teaser image of its new Hazumi concept which hints at the potential styling of the next-generation Mazda2.

Mazda2 is an important volume model for the Japanese brand in the UK and a new model in 2015 will replace the current generation which has been on sale since 2007.

The design cues on the Hazumi clearly link to Mazda's latest models like the Mazda3 and Mazda6.

The Hazumi concept will be on show at the Geneva Motor Show at the start of March where the brand will also be launching its lower capacity next generation Skyactiv-D 1.5-litre diesel engine.
