Inflation and the number of unemployed have continued to fall, according to latest official figures.
The Office for National Statistics has revealed this morning that the UK's unemployment rate for Q4 2013 was 7.2%, down 0.4 percentage points from the previous quarter. The number of jobless people fell by 125,000.
It comes a day after the Consumer Prices Index measure of inflation was announced to have fallen to 1.9% in January, down from 2% in December.
